His conceptual narratives focus on man?s response to his inner being ? the unconscious, subconscious, and conscious states (based on theories of Sigmund Freud, 1856 - 1939). The painting series recounts; that what life gives to man is neither limited to what nature makes available to him nor what is obtainable by him. Often, man does not have total control over what accrues to him. Some unseen forces prevail to make things happen either positively or negatively.
