Royal Copenhagen, Blue Fluted Plain oval lidded tureen. Oval porcelain tureen with lid decorated in underglaze blue with the classic Blue Fluted Plain pattern. Model 1/283, first quality, dated 1967. Origin: Denmark. Material: Porcelain. Dimensions: H. 15 cm, L. 27 cm. Period: 1960s. Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear. Bio: Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 and is one of Denmark's most important porcelain manufacturers. The factory is especially renowned for its hand-painted underglaze blue decoration, with Blue Fluted Plain being one of its oldest and most iconic patterns. Each piece is individually painted, making every object unique.
