C. 1800s. A charming French Grand Tour souvenir perfume casket. The box is made of patinaed gilt-brass featuring intricate engraved floral and scrollwork. The casket is adorned with many Eglomise medallions featuring famous landmarks in great condition, helping tourists remember their travels. The casket features a hinged lid, decorative ring handles, and sits on ball feet. The interior features a red plush interior with five miniature perfume bottles. One of the five bottles has a dip tube/stopper that is stuck inside the bottle; however, the rest of the bottles are remarkable, otherwise typical anticipated aging. 4" x 4" x 4".
