It states: "You will become engaged to a woman, but another man will lie with her. You will build a house, but not live in it. You will plant a vineyard, but not enjoy its fruit." The verse highlights the devastation of losing everything you have worked for. Specifically, it prophesies: Loss of family: The bride you are betrothed to will be taken and violated by an enemy.
