Description

A handsome 19th century pine slant front desk retaining its original mustard painted surface, the hinged fall front opening to a fitted interior with an arrangement of pigeon holes and small drawers above a spacious writing surface, the case fitted with three graduated long drawers mounted with period style bail pulls, constructed of wide pine boards with exposed dovetail joinery at the top corners; 36½ in. high, 36 in. wide, 18¼ in. deep. Age-appropriate wear to the surface and paint; side panel is loose.
