A handsome pair of early 20th century Dutch mahogany side chairs, each featuring a horseshoe form back with turned and inlaid spindle splats, decorated throughout with finely executed satinwood and fruitwood marquetry to the crest rail, seat rail, and legs, raised on tapering turned legs and fitted with a serpentine upholstered seat; one measuring approximately 37 in. high, 20½ in. wide, 20¾ in. deep, with a floor to seat height of 20 in. Good condition with light wear consistent with age and use.
