Hermann Eichberg Art Nouveau Bronze Hunting Cat Lamp

Description

Created around 1900, this famous German Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) piece is crafted in gilt bronze tones and features a cat in a hunting pose beneath a shade decorated with cat faces and green glass eyes, all displaying the soft, flowing lines typical of the style. The lamp is initialed/stamped with fecit (Latin for made by) with initials on one side and the Eichberg signature on the other. The lamp measures approximately 16 in. H x 6 1/8 in. W x 9 in. D. The piece is untested and shows minimal wear.
