Set features cast bronze with a gilt patina, created by A. Duchene, a late 19th-century French sculptor known for traditional figurative groups. One side of the bookend depicts a crouching cat peeking around a corner, while the other side features three charming mice. The pieces include an inscribed signature by the artist. Dimensions per side are approximately 4 1/2 in. H x 5 7/8 in. W x 4 in. D. Good condition.
