A late 19th century carved walnut settee in the Neoclassical taste, featuring elegant foliate and bead-and-reel decoration, the open double-back design accented by pierced and turned splats centered by a carved anthemion and floral cartouche, fitted with an upholstered seat and raised on tapered and fluted legs; 38½ in. high, 44½ in. wide, 19¼ in. deep. Good condition with light discoloration to the upholstery consistent with age and use.
