This salt-glazed pottery jar was made by South Carolina potter Gary Dexter. It features iron slip decoration consisting of a looping line below a tooled shoulder line and is signed "Dexter" on the bottom. It measures approximately 6 7/8 in. H x 5 1/2 in. W x 5 1/2 in. D; in good condition with light wear to surface.
