Set of Mintons Cat Plates This rare set of seven late-19th-century plates features whimsical feline scenes, including a cat in a jardiniere with a peacock feather, a cat at a dining table, a pair of cats on a sofa, a cat in a fish bowl, cats and a mouse by a fence, a cat with a parrot, and a cat and dog. Each plate measures approximately 3/4 in. H x 10 in. in diameter. Overall, the set is in good condition, with the exception of some crazing to all plates and discoloration noted on the plate depicting the cats and mouse by a fence.
