This hand-carved sculpture features a solid sculpted wood body accented by metal dorsal finlets, side fins, and a tail fin, the latter of which is secured to the body with two metallic rivets. The piece is finished with a rich, multi-layered blue wash that highlights the organic textures of the wood and is mounted on a thin metal rod atop a natural wood base. It measures approximately 25 1/4 in. H x 5 5/8 in. W x 23 1/4 in. D; Good condition with light surface wear.
