In the tradition of historic artists like David Drake, the pitcher is marked with David Meaders' inscribed signature on the side and includes a partially legible inscribed verse. David Meaders (1951–2020) was a highly celebrated American Southern folk potter from Georgia, widely recognized for keeping his family’s historic stoneware legacy alive. The pitcher measures approximately 9 in. H x 6 7/8 in. in diameter including handle and is in good condition with minimal imperfections.
