This Calico cat sculpture is the work of the renowned British studio potter Rosemary Wren (1922–2013), daughter of Denise Wren, with hand-painted details by Peter Crotty. The piece features a dramatically high curved tail and a highly expressive face characterized by incised whiskers and facial features. It bears the artist's maker's mark on the bottom, accompanied by the remnants of Peter Crotty's signature on the bottom of the back left foot. The sculpture measures approximately 10 1/8 in. H x 2 3/8 in. W x 6 in. D; Good condition with light wear to surface consistent with age and handling.
