This Lascaux stoneware vase, designed by Rachel Bishop in 1998, features a wide, ovoid form that tapers into a short, deep-brown glazed neck. The surface is richly decorated with stylized silhouettes of prehistoric animals set against a mottled ground, rendered in fluid flambé-style glazes of terracotta, ochre, charcoal, and cream. The base is stamped "Cobridge Stoneware Made in England." The piece measures approximately 9 in. H x 8 in. W x 8 in. D. Good condition.
