Trio of sheep features light buff-tone glazes and charming, hand-built textural forms. Two of these pieces are the work of John Virando, a 20th-century British studio potter renowned for his whimsical earthenware and stoneware; two of the three sheep are signed, while one remains unmarked. Representative of the set, one sheep measures approximately 4 1/4 in. H x 5 3/8 in. W x 4 in. D. All pieces are in good condition.
