1948 set produced by Effanbee includes three figures—Jambo the Jiver (a Black Americana figure), Kilroy the Cop, and Macawful the Scot. The puppets are carefully constructed with fabric clothing and polychrome features and are housed in their original boxes, which include coordinating 45 records intended for childhood performances. One box measures approximately 10 1/2 in. H x 10 1/2 in. W x 5 in. D. The set is in vintage condition with wear throughout, and the records and marionette mechanisms remain untested.
