This vibrant watercolor painting is by Douglas Malcolm Grant (1894–1993), an American artist who was a member of the American Watercolor Society and studied at the Art Students League of New York. Before dedicating himself to fine art, Grant spent 26 years in commercial art and was the brother of the renowned marine artist Gordon Grant. The painting depicts a mountainous landscape with vibrant fall foliage and birds in the sky. It is signed "Douglas Grant AWS" on the bottom left, is housed in a wood frame with a mat, and measures approximately 27 1/4 in. H x 33 1/4 in. W. Good condition.
