Three American studio pottery vessels including a wheel-thrown Jugtown Ware planter, a squat ovoid jar by Brown’s Pottery of Arden, NC, and a small ovoid vase. The Jugtown planter features a flared, conical silhouette with a matching integrated drip tray saucer, finished in a mottled, semi-matte dark blue glaze with a stippling effect and stamped "Jugtown Ware 1989" on the bottom. The Brown's Pottery jar presents a squat ovoid form with a slightly flared rim and a brown speckled glaze, also bearing the maker's stamp on the bottom. Completing the set is a small ovoid vase with a dramatic flared rim and a decorative brown and green drip glaze. The largest of these vessels measures approximately 4 1/2 in. H x 6 1/4 in. W x 6 1/4 in. D, and all pieces are in good condition with only light surface wear.
