Southern Alkaline Glaze Stoneware Crock

Description

Stoneware piece is finished in a rich, soft alkaline glaze and features a slightly curving shoulder transitioning into a mostly straight-sided body, topped with a defined flared lip. It measures approximately 9 1/2 in. H x 6 1/4 in. in diameter. There are some abrasions to the lip consistent with age and use.
