Ivory Coast, post WWII. Deeply carved ovoid mask with raised ridge along high forehead, large eyeholes, full parted lips. Dark brown patina with areas of crusted deposits, reverse of mask with highly burnished smooth patina. 10" H × 5.75" W (25.4 cm H × 14.61 cm W).
Provenance: Collection of Tom Carson, NYS., active 1970’s - early 2000’s, then by descent to family.
