Description
Flag represents the state of Colorado. Admitted into the union in 1876 and Ratified as a state JUly 4th 1877. AKA the Centennial flag. Most likely a naval flag from brass grommets, length is doubled the height 70 x 140 and Reinforcement stitching on corners. Not seen much use much based on condition which is one of the best I have seen. Single applique stars and professional stitching on the back side. I believe this started as a 35 star flag. Looked up C. SMITH in Naval Civil War and found one which Recieved DMH on USS Rhode Island. No Documentation. Measures 70 x 140" . Shipping includes insurance.
