Seven inset views depict key landmarks including the Royal Exchange, Guild Hall, Cheapside, St. Paul’s, Temple Gate, and Baynard’s Castle. A side map shows London, Westminster, and Southwark, marking the burnt area. Below this, a banner contains a legend indicating the extent of the fire, the line of the streets before the fire, and the subsequent post fire alteration. These include street enlargements (Newgate, Gracechurch Street), new streets (King Street, Queen Street), a Thames embankment, and the canalisation of the Fleet River. Surveys by Hollar and others informed rebuilding efforts, with key fire-prevention measures mandating brick and stone construction and wider streets.
