Penshurst Place, Penshurst, Tonbridge, Kent TN11 8DG. Extant. Still family home; also open to visitors (house/gardens/events). Built in various periods. The oldest part built by John de Pulteney 1341. Parts of the buiding 15C & Elizabethan. Some renewal and extension in 1818 by J.B. Rebecca in Tudor-Gothic style under the ownership of Percy Bysshe Shelley's uncle. The Buckingham building, to west of old house, much altered in 1850s. . Johannes Kip Sculp. Published 1719.
