Inset panels depict notable houses and landmarks such as Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, and Kedleston Hall, while text panels reference wartime activities including Starfish bomber decoy sites. The military roles of the Indian Mule Corps and the 1st Derbyshire Yeomanry are recorded. Heraldic devices, regimental insignia, and county arms enhance the design, reinforcing its ceremonial character.
