A Jacobean mansion originally built sometime before 1550 by the Dyngley (or Dynely) family, incorporating 15th & 16th century elements, with 18th & 19th century alterations and additions. The name Frognall is believed to be derived from "frog pool." . Thomas Badeslade delin. John Harris Sculp. Published 1719. Early 18th century folio antique copperplate print.
