Around the map Ellis adds charming vignette views and motifs: Cotswold stone cottages of Arlington Row, Bibury; the view from Cleeve Hill, Lower Slaughter on the River Eye, Chipping Campden’s Market Hall, the Long Stone at Hampton Fields, the south porch of Malmesbury Abbey, and a pastoral ploughing scene. A geological/topographical cross-section along the lower edge traces the west-east profile from Cleeve Common towards Great Tew. A comparatively recent publication, but uncommon. by Ellis, Roger.
