Large thrown stoneware vase with slender baluster form and narrow neck. Executed in a grey-brown hare’s fur glaze from the Selecta series. Stamped Gustavsberg and Selecta on the base. Model Selecta.

Berndt Friberg (1899-1981) was a Swedish ceramic artist and one of the most important designers associated with Gustavsberg. He joined Gustavsberg in 1934, first working as a thrower for Wilhelm Kåge and later establishing his own studio at the factory.
