Bio
Palshus Ceramics was founded in 1949 by Per Linnemann-Schmidt and Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt. The workshop became renowned for its simple forms and subtle matte glazes in carefully tuned colors. Per Linnemann-Schmidt (1912-1999), trained as an architect, made a significant mark on Danish ceramic design in the postwar period with his emphasis on function, proportion, and the tactile qualities of glaze.
