The pitcher is made in a very stylish tapered cylindrical form, with a fine hand hammered finish. The handle is done in a particularly striking way, with a cylindrical upright, very easy to grip. The spout has a kind of geometrical design, with a squared off tip. The pitcher has a liquid capacity of about 4 cups, or 32 fluid ounces/950 milliliters when filled to about the bottom of the spout, though it can be filled as much as 5 cups safely. Very elegant piece. The underside is stamped with the German crescent moon and crown as well as 800 for the purity of the silver and 'Handarbeit' for hand-work or hand-wrought. This piece is in excellent condition. There is very minor surface wear, commensurate with age and use. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The pitcher stands about 7 3/8 inches tall and measures about 7 1/2 inches from handle to spout. This piece weighs 520 grams or 18.3 regular ounces.
