The coin exhibits an off-center strike approximately 10 to 15 percent toward the 4 o'clock position on the obverse, resulting in an unstruck crescent-shaped area on the opposite rim. The obverse depicts the laureate portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the inscription ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA. The reverse displays the George Kruger Gray twin maple leaf motif, including the initials K.G., the denomination 1 CENT, and the country CANADA.
