Description
This US quarter dollar is a 1988-P Washington quarter featuring a centered broadstrike mint error. The obverse features the Washington design with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, the P mint mark, and the date 1988. The reverse features the eagle design with the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and QUARTER DOLLAR. The coin is composed of cupro-nickel clad copper. It is housed in a 2x2 cardboard and plastic flip with handwritten notations identifying the error and uncirculated state. uncirculated. The coin displays original mint luster with scattered contact marks and light hairlines visible on both faces.
