  • Description: Vintage Enameled Lady Bug/Beetle Brooch, Signed Capri, 1950's Yellow enameled wings with black dots and a domed orange body under the wings with an 8mm faux pearl head and rhinestone orange/red eyes. The enameling on the wings does have some vintage crazing - otherwise very good conditon. One rhinestne eye is bright than the other. Gold tone undercarriage and signed Capri. Locking clasp. It is appx. 1.5" tall and 1.25" wide. Very cute brooch. the undercarriage of the orange body is open with an exposed plastic dish-like design. I've heard of people putting a drop of perfume on that to add fragrence to the pin while wearing. I am not sure it was designed for that but I've run across it in my vintage travels. (W9515.8 SS14216 J LD 7/14/24).
