  • Description: Vintage Brass Copper Jesus and Guardian Angel Pocket Art. This is a heavy bust of Jesus that had a copper finish with some of it worn. Silver tone set on a brass base with the reverse being a Guardian Angel leading a child set in silver tone metal and set on brass with a carved copper divider between the two sides. This is appx. 2.5" tall and 1.5" wide. It is my understanding they were meant to be carried in a pocket or purse - or suitcase or briefcase for travel safety and a reminder of faith. It does not stand on it's own but if you had a little tri-pod stand, it could stand on that to be displayed. Age is estimated at 1940's or after. The weight is 160.06 dwt. which is over 8.5 ounces. This is not marked or signed. Very good condition other than the finish wear on the Jesus side. (W10322.1X1 SS9502 J LD 2/2/23).
