Bei der Leica M7 „Handmade Titanium Camera“ handelte es sich um ein Einzelstück, das im Jahr 2002 für Sheikh Saud Al-Thani von Katar hergestellt wurde. Das hier angebotene Musterexemplar weist deutliche Abweichungen von der später gelieferten Kamera auf. Die äußeren Bauteile bis auf die Belederung sind aus massivem Titan gefertigt. Die Oberseite der Deckkappe noch ungraviert. Die Vorderseite mit einem eingesetzten Punkt mit "£eica" Schriftzug, anstelle des gravierten Schriftzugs. Die Zubehörklemme graviert mit der besonderen Seriennummer 8888888 und "1/1". Mit Leica Summicron-M 1:2/28 mm ASPH. titanisiert Nr. 4613702 - ein Muster, noch mit Produktcode 11672 des schwarzen Objektivs versehen, zu der im Jahr 2016 erschienenen, limitierten Leica M-P (Typ 240) Titan Ausrüstung.
Die später gelieferte Ausrüstung bestand aus einem Gehäuse mit fünf Objektiven, alle aus massivem Titan gefertigt.

Dabei: Rohe Messingdeckkappe graviert mit der Signatur des Kunden.

The Leica M7 "Handmade Titanium Camera" was a one-off manufactured in 2002 for Sheikh Saud Al-Thani of Qatar. The sample unit offered here shows significant differences from the camera that was delivered later. The external components except the body covering are made of solid titanium. The top of the topplate without engraving. The front with the "£eica" inset dot, instead of the engraved logo. The accessory clamp engraved with the special serial number 8888888 and "1/1". With Leica Summicron-M 28 mm f/2 ASPH. titanium plated Nr. 4613702 - a sample unit, still engraved with product code 11672 of the black version, to the limited edition Leica M-P (Typ 240) Titanium outfit from the year 2016.
The later delivered outfit consisted of a body with five lenses, all machined from solid titanium.

Included: Raw brass topplate with the customer's signature.
