Needlework sampler wrought by Elizabeth H. Bowne in her 8th year of age in 1827. Needlepoint on linen. Later wood frame with incised motifs. Sampler depicts mainly yellow and green floral/vine motifs.
Frame: H 19-7/8 in. W 20-7/8 in. Sight: H 16-1/8 in. W 17-1/8 in.
Condition
