Worked in silk threads on linen ground, featuring alphabets, numerals, floral motifs and a verse. Signed: "R. M. Holmes, Aged 11 Yrs." The composition centered by a basket of flowers and enclosed by scrolling floral vines, in a tiger maple frame. Inscribed verso: "Loaned by ________ Aug. 18, 1952, Manchester, Vermont."

Overall in good condition with minor toning.
