Description
Clemens Heinrich Hartung, a landscape painter born in 1888 in Dusseldorf, comes from a dynasty of painters. His male successors were respectively called Heinrich, therefore, "Heinrich Hartung IV", student of Franz Molitor, studies at the Dusseldorf Art Academy. After war service in WW1, he settled in 1919 in Koblenz. He was a member of the general German artist cooperative. Heinrich Hartung passed away in 1966 in Koblenz.
