Carved signature to base 'J. Mense'. The present lot is a dramatically elongated male colonial figure wearing Western dress by an unknown, likely Makonde, artist.

This work will ship from Chicago, Illinois.

Condition

Very good condition. Figure has a few short scratches and scuffs from handling over time, as well as some thin, naturally-occurring separations to wood fibers.
