Occupying a space in the blurry line between abstraction and representation, individual identity and anonymity. Inspired by portraits of married couples from ages ago. This is framed with a painted thin wood strip, black on the sides, silver color on the front. It's wired and ready to hang.
About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish. Steve is currently (2025) president of a well-known and respected local artists' association. His paintings are in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad.
