19th century Japanese hanging scroll in ink and colors on silk depicting Daikoku - one of the Gods of Good Fortune, that of wealth - seated on rice bales, a bag on his back and a mallet at his belt, and playing playing tsuzumi (a hand drum). Nice quality painting, signed by an artist followed by his seal. Some spotting, overall in good condition. Painting size 35 x 13.75 inches, scroll size 70 x 18.5 inches.
