This is an Audiotronics Model 300-A "All Transistor" classroom record player, manufactured by the Audiotronics Corporation of North Hollywood, California. The unit is housed in a portable suitcase-style case constructed of wood or composite board with a textured brown vinyl covering. It features reinforced metal corner protectors, a metal latch, and a plastic carrying handle. The interior deck includes a manual tone arm, a turntable platter with a striped rubber mat, and a speed selector switch. Controls consist of two plastic knobs for volume and tone (with integrated power function) and a "Pause Control" lever located near the tone arm base. The front of the unit houses an integrated speaker behind a black perforated metal grille with a cream-colored trim plate. The front trim plate is marked with the "ATC" circular logo and the text "AUDIOTRONICS". The deck plate is printed with "ALL TRANSISTOR 300-A CLASSROOM RECORD PLAYER" and manufacturer details. A metal serial number tag is riveted to the deck and stamped with "570991".
