Ancient Agate Arm Guard (Bigou). Polished from translucent pale white agate, with a waisted middle section, begonia-flower shaped supports on top and bottom, incised fish-holding auspicious beast motif on one side, and perforations on both sides for stringing; total length 8.5cm, width 3.5cm. It is an ancient hunting protective jade ornament with concise and primitive lines.
