Inscribed "Plate 62" upper left and "No. 15" upper right. Titled below the image, "Passenger Pigeon. Male 1. F. 2. Columba Migratoria." Lower left: "Drawn from Nature and Published by John J. Audubon"; lower right: "Engraved by R. Havell, Junr. / Printed & Coloured by R. Havell, Senr., London, 1829." Sheet size: 36 1/2" high x 24" wide. In a high-quality modern black wooden frame under glass with gilt corner decoration measuring: 43 1/2" high x 32 1/2" wide.

Provenance: Estate of Alfred J. Walker, legendary art dealer and collector. Founder of Walker-Cunningham Fine Art.Print was examined out of frame. It is on laid paper appropriate to the period but does not bear any watermark. Sheet shows: 2" and 4" tears in upper margin and 3" and 2 1/2" tears on left margin. Minor foxing.
