18th C. Most likely Italian. To include:
(A) Large crucifix with ornate pedestal base and gilded finish. Two-piece construction. Animal paw feet. 48" high x 18 1/2" wide.
(B) Pair of Baroque-style candlesticks. Carved wood and gesso with silver finish. Carved top with reeded column shaft. Acanthus carved base with animal feet. 36 1/4" high x 8 1/4" diameter at base.
Provenance: Estate of Alfred J. Walker, legendary art dealer and collector. Founder of Walker-Cunningham Fine Art.
(A) Worn finish. Minor paint and gesso loss.
(B) Loss to gesso. Wear to finish. One candle cup replaced and loose.
