Peter Keil is a German artist who focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few.

This is a super fun piece executed on cloth. Oftentimes, before Peter could afford canvas, he painted on cloth he had. This piece is from Keil's "Junge Wilde" collection he created in Berlin in the early 80s through the 90s. It is signed "P. Keil" in the lower left corner.

This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.

The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear.
