Peter Keil is a German artist who focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few.

This is an exceptional piece from Keil's "Junge Wilde" collection, executed on canvas in a wooden frame. It is quite large, and Peter did not create many pieces that incorporate this painting style, so it is quite rare and unique. This piece is full of fabulous texture! I have included a few photos that showcase the texture quite well.

This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.

It is signed "Peter Keil "˜77" in the lower left corner. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear. As you can see in the photos, there is craquelure in some areas, which is typical with age.
