The central design features the traditional three-towered castle insignia of the US Army Corps of Engineers. Text is arranged around the perimeter of the circle in a sans-serif typeface. The top arc reads 315TH ENGINEERS, the left arc reads HEADQUARTERS, the right arc reads GP. (CONST.), and the bottom arc reads USAR.
