Description: American Victorian Renaissance Revival walnut sewing or work table, circa 1870-1885. The rectangular molded top is inset with book-matched burl-walnut panels above a locking compartmented drawer, a secondary lower drawer, and a suspended wooden work bag. The architectural base incorporates paired pierced and molded trestle supports, scrolling brackets, turned spire finials, and a shaped central stretcher, terminating in splayed feet fitted with casters.
