French Louis XVI Style Flame Mahogany Chest

Description

French Louis XVI style bureau features brilliant flame mahogany construction complemented by ornate brass ormolu decoration with applied rosettes and decorative edges. The piece is supported by fluted columnar posts adorned with Corinthian brass details and features swag-decorated drawer pulls at the base paired with round sunburst motif pulls on the upper drawers. The drawers are constructed with traditional hand-cut dovetail joints. It measures approximately 35 in. H x 54 in. W x 25 5/8 in. D and is in overall excellent condition with minimal surface wear.
